SOFIA, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- Bulgaria's gross domestic product (GDP) expanded by 3.9 percent year on year in the third quarter of 2017, official data showed on Tuesday.
According to flash estimates released by the country's National Statistical Institute (NSI), the GDP at current prices was 27.3 billion Bulgarian lev (16.3 billion U.S. dollars).
Exports and imports of goods and services increased by 4.4 percent and 6.2 percent respectively compared with the same period of last year, the NSI figures showed.
According to the NSI, Bulgaria's GDP grew by 3.4 percent year on year in 2016, 3.6 percent in 2015, and 1.3 percent in 2014.
