KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 27) -- IJM Corporation, a Malaysian construction and plantation firm, said Tuesday its net profit fell 26.7% year-on-year in the fiscal third quarter, dragged by lower contributions from property, and manufacturing & quarrying divisions, as well as unrealised foreign exchange loss.
Net profit for the three months ended Dec. 31 was 101.36 million ringgit ($25.93 million) compared to 138.36 million ringgit over the same period last year, IJM Corporation said in an exchange filing. Quarterly revenue dropped 1.9% on year to 1.57 billion ringgit from 1.60 billion ringgit.
