KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 26) -- Sunway Construction Group, a Malaysian engineering and building material firm, said Monday its net profit dipped 0.8% in the fourth quarter from a year earlier as margins were slightly affected due to a decline in profitability in the pre-cast segment.
Net profit for the three months ended Dec. 31 was 31.80 million ringgit ($8.14 million) compared with 32.06 million ringgit last year, Sunway Construction said in an exchange filing. Quarterly revenue rose 35.3% year-on-year to 748.17 million ringgit from 553.15 million ringgit.
