Australian Dollar Slides Against Majors

The Australian dollar weakened against the other major currencies in the Asian session on Monday.

The Australian dollar fell to nearly a 3-month low of 0.7478 against the U.S. dollar, from Friday's closing value of 0.7501.

Against the euro, the NZ dollar and the yen, the aussie dropped to 1.4144, 1.0789 and 83.33 from an early 4-day highs of 1.4089, 1.0834 and 83.71, respectively.

The aussie edged down to 1.0038 against the Canadian dollar, from Friday's closing value of 1.0028.

If the aussie extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around 0.73 against the greenback, 1.43 against the euro, 1.06 against the kiwi, 82.00 against the yen and 0.98 against the loonie.
