Swiss Franc Mixed Ahead Of SNB Rate Decision

At 3:30 am ET Thursday, the Swiss National Bank's interest rate announcement is due. The interest rate on sight deposits at the central bank is expected to be maintained at -0.75 percent, and the target range for the three-month libor between -1.25 and -0.25 percent.

Ahead of the announcement, the franc traded mixed against its major rivals. While the franc held steady against the yen, it fell against the greenback, euro and the pound.

The franc was worth 0.9752 against the greenback, 1.0956 against the euro, 104.98 against the yen and 1.2913 against the pound as of 3:25 am ET.
